I love this product. Saves me a lot of headache and money on how much chems to put in the hot tub. It balance the chems out. I refresh the product once I have clean the hot tub out. New filters and this product keeps my hot tub really clean. It saves you a lot of time and trouble.

Given the heavy price on these things a buyer expects these to last the amount of time that their documentation claims. It's pretty close. My Jacuzzi is 360 gallons and it is set at about 95 degrees and it last 3-4 weeks. Don't waste the mineral side of it when the chlorine wears out. If it rattles it is still good and I add it to the new chlorine piece.

I have a new softub Portico.At first I used the powdered chemicals that came with the starter kit. It was a royal pain. I would check daily, make adjustments, etc. It was very difficult to get the water clear. So I bought a bunch of additional products (filter cleaner, water cleaners, non-chlorine shocks, etc) and it did not restore the water to clear. And I had to really focus daily on tweaking the chlorine and pH levels. It was a pain.I don't work for Frog @ Ease, but I will tell you that once we switched to that product, most everything was solved. I test the pH once or twice a week and make adjustments. Our water became clear after 1 day of use. I spend 90% less time chasing my chemical levels. I'm not even sure if I need to non-chlorine shock anymore though I probably will. I clean my filter probably every 2 weeks.The other thing about Frog @ Ease is that the water is much less chlorinated. My skin is not dry and itchy. The water seems softer and silkier. I sound like a commercial. But I have to say, the product has exceeded my expectations. I wish it were cheaper. But I save so much time, I don't care. And the experience in the tub is better. We are going to drop off the used pods at a local Frog dealer and apparently they are made into plastic furniture.
