Great device
We got this for Dad whilst he was in hospital to watch films, as the WIFI side of things was very poor. It definitely helped pass the time away much quicker. Quality of picture + sound is perfect. We got a travel laptop bag to keep it all together out of the box. Well worth the money as he uses it at home now too.

Poor sound.
This is a great little dvd player with a good sharp picture how ever the sound is very low, playing a dvd and listening with the internal speakers is almost impossible unless you’re in a completely silent room. There is no Bluetooth option with the player so I purchased a dongle which plugs into the earphone jack socket and paired it to my wireless headphones and although the sound level increased, it still wasn’t quite loud enough. I purchased the player to use while in hospital which can be a noisy place to be so decided to return it for a refund. This would be a great little dvd player if used in conjunction with a small sound bar or powered speakers which really isn’t a good idea in a hospital ward.Overall this dvd player is good value for money but if you do buy one then be prepared to amplify the sound output.

Altogether agreat piece of kit.
Arrived as predicted. Can be used straight from the box with a few tweaks to brightmess and contrast to give a good picture (more than adequate.) Sound has also good volume control. Headphones not tried yet. Micro SD card awaited to save carrying DVDs around. Flights are going to be more emjoyable now.

Excellent !!!!!!!
At last ! A portable DVD player made in the UK 🇬🇧👍Not only that , the quality is superb , and the picture cannot be faulted .This is bliss after buying certain foreign makes ....and also a couple of second hand ones locallyDo not waste your money on that rubbish....for what I paid for this brilliant device I wasted nearly the same amount on useless junk !I have already an Oak castle MP3 player and found that really good so I knew the name already .So much better to buy British 🇬🇧👍 and I would highly recommend this player and does exactly what I need .10/10

Great little piece of kit
The media could not be loaded. Now I like my technology, I can remember looking at portable DVD players in the late 90’s and they were around £1200. It wasn’t until 2003 I bought my first portable DVD player and that cost around £400.Fast forward to 2022, I have two portable DVD players gathering dust and no longer used. However in that time my collection of DVD’s swelled to around 1000 films.I still use a DVD player to this day at home. I travel with work quite often and quite often like to watch a film, but my old portable players aren’t the best and have a small screen. Now along came the oak castle 120. Purchasing from Amazon as always relatively easily and at a good price.Like everything it was packaged well. The device is 12” with a 10” screen, built in speakers, USB slot, SD Card slot, wall and car charger plus remote control. It has a headphone Jack too, just so you don’t annoy the passengers on the train.I put Top Gun in as my review of the device.Initially the disc spin was noisy but it did seem to settle down and wasn’t noticeable. The player seems sturdy and the screen can spin 180 degrees. The sound is good, but isn’t amazing and would benefit from the ability to connect to a Bluetooth device, although it could be connected via a headphone Jack.To listen to a CD, it’s probably better to connect your headphones to listen to it, I used my beats, this drained the battery a little quicker though. It’s multi-region, so that is good news for me as I used to buy quite a few region 1 back in the day. It’s good how it can give you around 5 hrs of playback on one charge, more than enough for a couple of films. The only thing I think this device needs is Bluetooth, for connection to a speaker or headphones. In an age of advancing technology of Blu ray, 4k and streaming. Would i recommend this product……..yes I would.
