Just what I was wanting
It does work nicely and I believe it is on center. Fits my Laguna wood lathe and works like it should. Looks to be well made and should last longer than I will.

Turn the tailsstock into a second passive chuck
I used this tail stock and mounted a 4-jaw, self-centering chuck to allow me to refinish the legs of a table I am restoring. The combination could not have worked better.
