Decent piece of equipment
I mainly bought this unit to play some old CDs I had hidden away in a cupboard. These days we are inundated with music apps streaming Alexa Google YouTube etc etc etc which is ok but kind of takes the fun out of playing music. I grew up with eight track, cassette tapes and vinyl then eventually CDs. This unit is very versatile and works very well even with the built in FM radio and internal speaker, the speaker is to be expected ok and decent to listen to on the move I plug in an external Bose mini speaker which is a great improvement. My only gripe is the advertised 12 hours from the rechargeable battery, it’s more like 3 hours and that is on low volume but if you leave the charging lead plugged in then it works 24/7. I find the FM radio loses signal now and then but it does not have an external arial it must be built in, I have plugged in a small external wire type arial which works ok. The remote control is great very hand. Overall I would recommend this player for the price it’s good value I just hope it is still in working condition in a few years. Time to dust off those old CDs and get playing, it’s fun. I’ve even ordered new CDs now and there’s plenty of choices and cheap too.

Iakcastle CD150
Rechargeable CD with fm radio so can be moved around the house. Comes with wall bracket and desk stand. Speakers are good and also has all the connectivity. Only down side is no Bluetooth headphones connection but will correct that with an adaptor. Perfect for audio cds and books. Good size no large footprint. Excellent

good gadget, poor sound
very capable little gadget. it has battery which lasts enough to play 2-3 audio cds. it has radio, it plays mp3 via usb, has aux in plug and bluetooth in, different eq sound presets. great so farbut the sound it produces is poor. to be expected from such tiny speakers. plug in some decent headphones and youre in for a second letdown. sound is poor again. not volume, but actual quality. it doesnt match even phone headphones sound, which is poor by default. no detail, no spark to it.to those saying they cannot connect it do larger speakers. just use the heapdhones-in as an audio out. youll still get poor sound, but now amplified it should be more obvious. it wont matter, youre used to it because of your lovely bluetooth speakers

Better than expected
It is easy to use, is good quality and value for money. It doesn't take long to charge and can be moved from room to room with ease. The built in speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, usb and charging features make this cd player a handy little device. For what it is, the sound quality is okay. My only issue is the volume .. it doesn't go up as high as I'd like but I can connect my Bluetooth speaker, to pump up the volume.

It works, just ...
I have a large collection of CDs and wanted something portable. This item certainly portable and easy to use.I am disappointed by the sound quality, and it works better using an external speaker connected to the aux-out, (whereby it becomes less portable.) The FM radio works, but fails to find BBC Radio 3 ... very disappointing.

Doubts abolished.
I lead a local music enjoyment group where we need portable sound equipment to reproduce CDs. When I read the specs of this device and the mostly positive reviews on Amazon, it all seemed too good to be true, but I took a chance and ordered one. When it arrived (the following day), I set it up easily and was amazed by the features provided and the quality of reproduction from such a small unit, all of which justified the praise from reviewers. The suppied comprehensive remote control works well, with batteries included. This machine can receive a Bluetooth signal but does not transmit, which I would have found useful. However, at the modest price, I'm not complaining and the 3.5mm headphone socket can be used to connect direct to an alternative amplifier via the supplied cable if necessary. A great little unit.

Just no…..
I bought this as it said online that it paired with other Bluetooth devices including speakers. The booklet on arrival says it doesn’t. Speaker quality not nearly loud enough for my backing track CDs and I wanted to run it through one of my blue tooth speakers for volume and depth. Cuts out too. So off to the tip.

Great value for money
The media could not be loaded. I’m absolutely delighted with this item. The CD player itself is robust and well-constructed. I’m currently using the stand that comes with it but having the option to mount the player onto the wall is a nice addition. The CD player can operate via rechargeable battery (internal) or via the lead provided (you will need to have a separate charger/power source or powered usb port). The sound quality is excellent, especially when you consider that the speakers are in built. I found that the low end could still be discerned, which isn’t always the case with other cd players with in-built speakers. The volume range is very good (the top end is surprisingly loud!) as are the effects you can apply to suit your preference and the style of music being played. The Bluetooth optionality works as it should; I was able to connect Bluetooth enabled headphones to this, as well my children’s karoke microphones, which provided hours of fun and independent exploration! The remote control responds well and is made of a heavier plastic (so, it doesn’t feel cheap and flimsy). I can’t recommend this item enough. For everyone out there still buying CDs (like me!), this is great portable and space-saving option. The sound quality is exceptional and for the price, this has to be a no-brainer for anyone looking for a CD player.
