Q: The advert says warm white 3500k...but the box shows both 6500 and 3500k and the graphic shows both. Is this switchable or is it just a generic box

Just a generic box. I bought the 6000k which were too white so I changed them for the 3500k

Q: The l & n wires that come connected to the driver are soldered to the circuit board. how am i supposed to connect the my mains wires to it?

connect the mains live and neutral wires to a terminal block, then connect the led driver supply wires into the other side of the terminal block.

Q: How do you fit the springs as there were no instructions in the box?

derr .... squeeze the spring and put it on the lugs on one side. repeat. Look at it and think (no instruction available for this part of the process) Do you think the springs are likely to hold the top of the plasterboard? No ?? then attach the springs the other way round. Think it will work ?? Now squeeze it in, as the wife used to say

Q: how big is the cut hole needed?

Hi, The correct hole size is 200mm (20 cm), The light unit is approx 10mm depth + the securing springs = total depth 15mm, once you have cut the hole the rest of the fitting is very easy, the only difficulty you may encounter is the springs but follow the instructions and all will be well. The colour 3500k gives an excellent light without shadows & is cold to touch even when it has been on for hours regards sioux
