Great little device
I bought this to replace a thermal imager from a different company that went faulty after one week. I am delighted with this one. The image is clear, it holds the focus and the digital zoom works really well. It is comfortable to hold and it's easy to find the correct button in total darkness.The description is incorrect,it has an internal battery that you charge and I didn't need the battery I ordered . The charge lasts a long time. One very happy new customer.

Not as good as it made out to be
On buying this for my wife for Christmas itWas no where near as good as it made out to be.Dose not show up all that it said it would and view was not clear. Sent it back as wife was so disappointed with this item. Waiting for refund now. Expensive for what it was could have got one as good for £40. Disappointing!!!!!

Less expensive
This does the trick at a fraction of the price, viewable screen not as crystal clear as the far more expensive products out there. But can make out small birds in a 20-30 ft distance.
