Awesome Little Computer
I have used this computer for college and it is wonderful at doing tasks. It is very fast and can handle a lot of things you throw at it. Keyboard is nice and does not feel cheap. It is extremely light and holds a good charge. Now if you are looking for a computer that you are going to use for gaming do not choose this one. It can run games like Minecraft on low settings and roblox. A good gaming laptop starts around $1000 or more. This is a great computer for your dollar if you are going to use it for average things.

Great work computer for a great price
I have had a Acer Chromebook since 2019 and have needed to upgrade for awhile. I recently got a new remote job that pretty much forced me to upgrade since the Chromebook had 2GB of RAM and almost no storage. This Acer has been great for the past month. I was looking for something with at least 8GB RAM and 256 or more memory. The speed of this computer has been wonderful. I can have multiple tabs going at once and have had no issues thus far. I have not loved Windows operating systems in the past, but this one isn't too bad. Once you get rid of Microsoft edge and use Google Chrome, it was back to business as usual for me. Perfect size for me, lightweight and easy to travel. The protective case it came with was a small, but nice bonus as well.Battery life hasn't been tested too specifically yet but I have easily worked for 3-4 hours off the charger and have had plenty of battery left. So I think it's going to be just fine in that regard.I've been told I can probably do some gaming with this computer but I haven't tried that yet, as I much rather use my PS5. All in all, this computer is plenty powerful for what I need. Zoom calls, research, multiple tabs open, Slack, ClickUp (productivity apps).Highly recommend at this price point.

Love it for the most part!
Got my 2 like weeks ago and i have been happy with it for the most part but theres this one issue i have with it.The touch pad, its not as responsive as i would like and it gets annoying for work and play at times but im trying to look past thatIt runs smoothly and runs games like genshin impact without much effort but in this game you'll notice the touch pad issue alot more because when u like to normal attack, its going to do a charged almost without fail, makes it rather difficult to play prob gonna have to get work done on it or try finding a substitute because the touchpad ending up being a bit more of an issue than i thought it would be.

Will Excel At Battery Life!
The media could not be loaded. I needed a daily driver laptop. One that I can pull out and put down anywhere. I do game; Tekken 8, Asphalt 9, etc., but I didn’t buy this for that. I bought this for editing and processing purposes on the GO!Home base, my 17.3” Nitro w/ 7840 and a 4050 STAYS THERE. That is not portable considerate. I can’t one hand wield it without feeling like it’s about to break.I love it tho, and have had a great time with Acer compared to competitors like Asus and Apple. The specs and price of this laptop rival a MacBook. I know, it’s not ultra performance or an oled super display. Everyone says, “oh that’s nice, I need a new laptop” when they see it.It’s a very sturdy design and business professional look overall. And the keyboard IS backlit! For $400 you have a budget MacBook 13” competitor.Get a 5500u variant if you want better performance, those chips are there. But you’ll be sacrificing something in the end.Mines hasn’t gotten hot, don’t intend for that to be a the daily case.

Disappointing Performance
I purchased this PC about 8 months ago and have only used it occasionally as I use it for travel. I did not expect it to perform well on demanding titles, but to perform okay on super light games like Stardew Valley and League of Legends. It gets about 10 fps on those titles and is completely unplayable. The keyboard quality is okay, it sort of feels cheap but in a way that is actually satisfying to me. It is super lightweight and perfect for travel in that sense - but if I can't game while on travel I will just use my phone.Would only recommend for web browser and streaming. Probably can't even run minesweeper.Side Note: The new naming convention from AMD stinks (not an Acer problem or this laptop). The processor sounds a lot newer and more capable than it is with the new convention, so buyer beware in that aspect.I should have coughed up more money for a 5/8700g.
