Critical thinking is an essential an vital skill that teens (well technically speaking, EVERYONE) need to develop. "Master Critical Thinking for Teens" is a comprehensive guidebook in helping to understand the importance of making informed decisions, anaylzing the world around them, evaluating evidence, and becoming an educated member of a society- a member who can have a deeper engagment and understanding with social problems and have the attitude of good citizenship. Great book!

Was excited to find a book on critical thinking for teens that was recent, given how fast our kids world changes. But sadly this was lacking in all ways that matter. The majority of the book reads like a mediocre Wikipedia page on the subject of critical thinking. The content did not delve into how best to approach the topic with a teen. It was blandly written for everyone.The examples (which were very few) were thrown in the back of the book like an after thought. With VERY short examples to practice such as "Analyzing a Political Advertisement" & "Analyzing a Health Claim". Really, how are these teen specific examples that will keep them engaged in learning and not be immediately bored and tune out learning about critical thinking.Really wished the author would have taken the time to have some parents read this and give feedback. He would have quickly understood how lacking in teen focus this book really was for this important subject.

The writing is clear and concise and presents information in an informative and entertaining way. All in all, this is a valuable addition to any Teen’s (or parent of a teenager’s) library.

Well written with lots of good points made. If it seems as though you have a teen who likes to argue this book would be a good read for them. A little more logic and critical thinking in this world would be nice and this book delivers.

A helpful guide to understanding critical thinking, Critical thinking is an important skill which teenagers should acquire to be successful in life; this book provides a deep understanding of what critical thinking is; the only criticism would be that the book has an academic textbook vibe, the author could consider a second edition with the whole text rewritten in a more enjoyable storytelling format with more practical and real-life examples which would be more acceptable to teenagers. A must read for teens .

My granddaughter is very smart but accepts what she hears as truth. I bought this to teach her how to listen, interpret what she heard, question what she doesn’t know, and how to debate it.What this is is just a political statement.
