Excellent Value
Bad for some according to other reviews, but thankfully good for me. I took a chance and it paid off.Bearing in mind that it will cost over £300.00 to get a set of ramps anywhere that you are likely to mention the words disabled or mobility, at this price they are fantastic value and they do the job very well.Pros.They work for me and have made my life much easier and have enabled me to get out more. I can now use a more powerful mobility scooter than the gutless boot scooter I was previously using.I have a Honda CRV and I use these ramps to load my Medicare Regatta 8 mobility scooter into it. This is big beastie that weighs 120kg and it goes in easily. I have to take the seat off and lower the tiller, but that's better than having to buy a boring and ugly car like a Berlingo or Partner.Lightweight and plenty strong enough.Slides open and closed easily with a good strong 'ball type' catch. Even with my badly arthritic fingers I can push them in.Smaller than expected (even though I got the 7ft ones), so easily stowed alongside the scooter.Cons.Not finished very well; the edges are very sharp and could be dangerous if you don't take the trouble to file them all down to smooth them off yourself (or get someone to do for you). This is totally unnecessary IMO and the manufacturer should address this issue. This should never get past quality control. You will need to have good ground clearance on your scooter. I initially tried my spare, older and tattier scooter (a Sunrise Medical Sterling Onyx) and it ground out on the top of the ramps as the scooter leveled into the car. This could have been quite dangerous for me if a neighbour hadn't been standing by to help me. A little bit more thought by the manufacturer could avoid this by lowering the side rails on the ramps at the top for the last three or four inches. The bag is made of very thin material and the zip is of very low quality. I can't see this lasting very long, so I shall see about having one especially made for me.SummaryThe manufacturer should address the issues I've mentioned before someone sues them for the loss of a finger or two. They should also mention that scooters need a big ground clearance or they should modify the design slightly.Overall, given the price and the light weight I am very happy with them for the price.

Does what it says on the tin
Love this product. I use this to get my mothers wheelchair (with her in it) up the 3 steps to my house. I pack it in the car and use them to get in family homes too. Brilliant, ramps don’t slip and extremely sturdy

Makes taking my full-size mobility scooter out of my Grand ...
Makes taking my full-size mobility scooter out of my Grand Espace possible; just line up the wheels and up / down I go. Fabulous. My neighbour also used them to get his new motorbike up the small set of steps at the front of his property to take it to the rear - I believe he's buying a set himself too!

an unfortunate choice
I am a wheelchair user, unable to walk or even stand up unaided. In my Athens home on the first floor there is a very difficult staircase for which I had installed a stairlift, there are, however, still three steps leading from the street level to the stairlift and on the screen this ramp seemed the ideal solution and good value so I ordered it fro Amazon.co.uk and asked for it to be sent directly to Athens to await my arrival [I currently live near my workplace]. However, the ramp proved a disaster. Although the length is correct, the lip which rests on the top step is too small to support it and its grip is highly unsatisfactory. We nearly had a very serious accident when it collapsed while I was on the wheel chair. Thereafter I hardly dared to venture out of my flat!

? Life saver
Came in a handy carrying bag. Easy to open and get out. I live in a bungalow, so the rise to my front door is only 2 steps high but the ramp does not grab the threshold. The ramp comes in two pieces (tracks) which are completely independent of one and other and have to be put out the correct width apart to accommodate individual wheelchairs. As you mount the ramp the individual tracks can move, particularly when going down which makes the process hazardous! I weigh 11 stone and my career had great difficultly pushing me up and down safely.

GREAT & PORTABLE
We take it everywhere. It is secure and the only aspect should be 2 rigid/ concertina poles to align the ramp with wheelchair. The other is a rubber attachment to provide that additional nonslip adherence at the top and bottom of ramp.
