No set up at all
Worked as soon as I put batteries in! Changing channels while using the guide is a little slower than it should be. Nothing on tv anyway so for streaming it’s good! Can’t beat the price for two. Didn’t try the other one yet.

What a annoying and totally unnecessary experience!
These remotes were IMPOSSIBLE to open to insert the batteries. I contacted Amazon and to return the things was more of a pain than tossing them. So I gave it another shot since it really didn't matter if the thing broke because I was so annoyed that I just going to throw them in the trash anyway. I actually had to give the unit a slight twist and I saw the tiniest opening where the back slips (or is supposed to slip) off and I forced my thumb nail into the opening with way too much force than should have been necessary to get it open so I could slide the back off the remote. Lesson learned. Why? Because I had to do the same thing with the second unit.

Hoped for better quality.
I haven't had these remotes for very long and they are already wearing out and not wanting to work. If I have time another day, I'll take a video to show how difficult it is to get the buttons to work having to hit and hold them repeatedly to activate a function.
