Google Pixel 2 Screen Protector Glass, amFilm Full Cover Tempered Glass Screen Protector with Dot Matrix for Google Pixel 2 (Black)

It was hard to choose a tempered glass screen protector for my Pixel 2, but I finally settled on this one, and I'm absolutely delighted with it. It's easy to apply: it comes with instructions, a wet cloth, a dry cloth, and stickers to remove any tiny particles of dust before you apply the protector itself. Best of all though, it's great to use! It feels as though there's nothing on the screen, and doesn't give you the "dragging" feeling you get with many cheap, flexible, plastic screen protectors (which also don't protect your screen against knocks and drops). It's a great size, and fits my Pixel 2 perfectly. When I need to replace it (which I probably will, as I plan to have this phone for a few years), I'll get another one of these, as I can't recommend it highly enough.

Best cover I have ever used. No bubbles (really!) easy application and covers 99 percent of the screen. Allowing space for a case that wraps around the edges a bit! The screen doesn't smudge at all and doesn't ruin the phones experience at all. Will be buying one more just to have as a backup!EDIT* I managed to get a piece of dust stuck underneath the screen-cover and I actually managed to lift it back up, fit perfectly once again! I believe the functionality is top notch, would give 6 stars if I could. Smudge-free and very easy to install. If you have a cover that wraps around the front of the phone, the wrap itself just falls in place.

It's actually really good, I was genuinely surprised how it compares to some really poor quality protectors I've used before for a similar or even higher price. Some even arrive broken.This I think is one of the hardest to break and most shatterproof protectors I've used for any phone. Some other brand protectors are fairly plastic-y - they crack easily, scratch easily and are very easy to take off, as they're easy to bend (soft). This one feels like actual glass, even though it's still really thin, has nice rounded edges and protects the screen really well. Mine dropped on the pavement a couple of times in my months of use and it protected the corners as well as the front (I also use a slimline case) really well.I would really recommend trying this one, as there are so many brands out there and sometimes it's difficult to distinguish between them, especially with some of them costing a premium, however, not offering anything extra.The only downside to this one is the oleophobic coating, which could be improved, however, I can still clean it easily by brushing against a shirt or trousers (been using it for 4 months now).Update: the oleophobic coating is actually quite poor, my 2nd unit I've purchased now and it's really poor straight out of the box, literally clean fingers leave smears all over which are not that easy to clean off. Don't know if I got a faulty one this time or if I was very optimistic when originally posting the 1st review... In a nutshell, strength of this is amazing but I had other screen protectors which offer much better oleophobic coating at the same or lower price, so it's a bit disappointing.

I was a little skeptical about how well this would stand up after reading a lot of the reviews, but I'm pleased to say that so far it isn't showing any signs of wear that other reviews had mentioned. It was so easy to put on compared to the ones I've used before for iPhones, and you really don't have to try to not get bubbles they just don't seem to appear! You just have to press the sides down and thats it (as in instructions)! No cracks, no lifting, and I can't say I've noticed a difference in screen colours or usability either - the screen is functioning just as before I had it on. I was also a little dubious about the black strips but honestly if you have the black pixel you can't tell at all. The only thing I would say is different from before having it on is you notice fingerprints a little more, but not so much that it becomes a nuisance and I only clean the screen as regularly as I would have without it. So overall very happy with it!

I normally don't write reviews for a screen protector, but I feel I must for this particular one. I normally mess up screen protectors or get dust and air bubbles under them but this one was just simply flawless.The kit comes with a soft cloth, wet/dry wipes and a set of dust removal stickers (which came in handy).Simply follow the instructions and you can't go wrong, one tip I do have is to do the install in a bathroom! seriously, after a shower/bath when the room is warm & humid there is minimal dust, even if you run the shower for a few minutes to get the room steamed up, that's the perfect time to do it.I cannot fault the fit of the tempered glass protector, it fits perfect and doesn't affect using cases at all.

This protector is nicely packaged and has good coverage of the screen with neat black edging which looks great. Unfortunately when I actually put it on my phone I ran into a whole bunch of problems:- It's very hard to install without trapping any dust under the screen. I've never had this problem with a screen protector before, but perhaps specks are just more visible because the protector doesn't stick directly to the screen apart from at the edges.- The glass has a slight hazy cast that makes the screen look duller than normal.- The glass has really bad glare, with rainbow artefacts if you look at it from a slight angle while the phone is in standby.- If the protector has an oleophobic coating it's a poor one - when the phone is in standby the screen looks filthy unless you clean it literally every time you use it.- There is a visible grid embedded in the glass.This protector looked really promising when I took it out of the packaging, but unfortunately it really isn't a product that I want stuck on the front of an expensive phone with a nice screen. I've removed it and will keep looking for a decent Pixel 2 screen protector (this is the second dud I've tried).
