I needed a new cooler to replace my aging wraith spire, I use a Lian Li 011 dynamic so it's a pain to find a decent air cooler that will fit so I went with this instead. I can only speak to AM4 socket installation but I found it very simple, it's one of the easiest installs I've ever done.As long as you have the default AM4 back-plate it's a simple matter of putting on a few pegs and screwing down the AMD brackets. The included thermal paste is basically the exact amount you should be using (so be careful not to waste any) so you can just squirt the whole tube onto the center of the CPU and you are ready to mount.The AIO includes a small fan hub that the fans can be plugged into and then just plug that hub into your 4 pin CPU fan header. The only tricky part for some people could be the 3 pin RGB, they can be daisy chained together but most mother boards seem to put the 3 pin RGB header across the bottom of the motherboard.Thankfully the UpHere fan set I use came with a fan controller hub that connects to my 3 pin RGB and I was able to just plug the fans and RGB connectors into that and it worked great, changing the fan/cpu leds worked fine in MSI dragon center.The AIO knocked my ambient temps down from around 50c to around 25c-28c so the performance has been terrific. I find the noise level fine, but I am not one of those people obsessed with fan noise.I did some research before purchasing and found people generally have good things to say about Thermalright including Gamers Nexus. I'm happy enough that I will be switching my wife's cooler out for one of the 240mm versions of this eventually.

I usually don't write reviews on amazon because who actually cares and reads these, but I'm very impressed with this. I was having issues with my CPU. Temps were in the mid 90's (C) during long gaming sessions. After install, the highest temp I've seen is 62 (PLEASE SEE MY EDIT, HIGHEST TEMP I'VE SEEN IN DAYS IS 56), and I'll be honest, I'm not sure my thermal paste job was very good at all... Install process took me a while because other than swapping ram sticks, this was the first thing I've ever modded on my PC, about an hour of work, including reading the manual and watching videos. Over all, relatively painless. But, if you've done any sort of PCU cooler before, this should be a cake walk. The product itself is stout, fits perfectly in a (what I'm assuming is standard) pc case, and works well from what I can tell. My only complaint, the cpu cooler itself defaults to rainbow RGB and I can't figure out how to adjust the color on that *EDIT, see below... I WAS DUMB, I FIGURED IT OUT IT WASN'T THE COOLERS FAULT, I'm gonna be honest, I'm not a smart man...*I've only had it for a bit, so I'll update based on longevity if I have any issues.** I have an edit to make, I had the primary cpu cooler hooked to the wrong rgb plug. I got smart and put it in the right place, its all good now. Also, I've had a few gaming sessions now, my cpu temps are topped out in the low/mid 50's according to MSI afterburner. Way better than when I first installed. I donno if it takes a while for Thermal paste to set up, but that could've been it.

i'm a streamer and both my PC and games were crashing constantly. on and off streams. original build only had 3 intake 1 exhaust fan. this somehow ran for 4 years. decided to upgrade cooling before bringing it in to a shop. after installing, my cpu temperatures went from pushing over 100c to max 70c under stress test. 40c to 60c during streaming and gaming. so far, no more crashes.i'm a girl who bought a prebuilt PC bc idk about building them, and i was able to install this cooler. however, the cables were CONFUSING!! no instructions. if i didn't have someone to help me figure out what to do w the cables for my specific build, i probably would have blown up my PC haha. installing the pump and fans were EASYtho. anyway, BUY THIS! unless you're building your dream build and want it to look and last a specific way, then buy this. it's a great price and so far does a great job.

The cooler itself came in a very protective packaging that ensured it all arrived in one piece. The cooler itself feels very high quality in your hand— the material feels good and it is hefty. Easy to mount AFTER you read the instructions (I had the AM5 mounts facing the wrong way) and stays on very nicely.Thermalright’s fans (2 were already preinstalled) have good color and luminance, and each one is daisy-chainable to ensure ease of use with most motherboards. Once you tweak your fan curves, these fans run relatively quiet (NOT silent), and get some good air flowing. If you mount them right, the fans should leave no visible gap in between each other.Thermalright makes some good products, however the diagrams on the box, and the manual were read in either poorly written or poorly translated English. That, and the fan logos aren’t always centered, so sometimes there is a noticeable wobble from the middle of the fan.

I will say I’ve had this pump running maxed out for around half a year to a year now and it’s rpm is realistically around 3100 rpm’s but still it’s been keeping an older cpu like the ryzen 7 5800x3d at 60c while playing games like cyberpunk maxed out I really can’t complain the build quality is great and it’s hefty and has been quiet with the obvious knowing that under heavy loads it will spin up a bit more now the static pressure flow is quite good for the radiator density and the fans they paired with it the rgb lighting has been great the pump looks good in an open case and can get rather bright overall I’ve been very happy with this Aio and even there 240 has done well on another build where space was a factor if your looking for a relatively cheap AIO that performs as well or similar to a Corsair AIO or any of those I would recommend it now I will say I’ve switched from Corsair because I can not stand the buy more for features that should be standard and honestly haven’t went back
