I used to be a barista many yrs ago. This little machine is great for home use. It's easy to use and makes great shots and steams the milk very well. I make both hot and iced latte's daily. Just follow the instructions, and make sure to clean the portafilter and wand after every use. I also wipe the screen off where the portafilter attaches to the machine after every use with a paper towel. Read the entire owners manual, and you can't go wrong. For a hundred dollars, you can't beat it.

Once you learn to properly tamp the espresso, you get very consistent results. Mine gets used 2-3 times per day, at least and I've had it for several months. My daughter is a barista and is impressed with how consistent it is for how inexpensive it is. Frother works great also.

Great design and features. Atrocious build quality. At $200 it’s pretty much a ripoff. I’m pretty bummed.The design of this espresso machine is quite fantastic. Lots of little touches, a phenomenal full color instruction book, great features, and it makes a good espresso. But for $200…. Holy moly is this thing cheap.All the buttons and knobs are loose, cheap fiddly plastic. I thought for $200, and based on the pictures, we’d get metal buttons and knobs. This thing is flat out overpriced.Walmart has all metal espresso machines similar to this for $50-60. I hate Walmart. And I expected for this price, I’d get a machine with better build quality.Really a shame. Between the features and wonderful design of this machine, the good quality espresso it pours, and the attention to detail in the manual and included accessories, they really just shot themselves in the foot by using the ugliest, grossest, cheapest plastic they could find.I feel like I’m gonna break it every time I use it. And I’m also not thrilled with the idea of so much scalding heat it’s putting out into plastic components. It feels unsafe, toxic, and needlessly fragile.Way way way overpriced for the quality of the machine.

Not sure why this is listed as an espresso machine. It’s built like one, but only delivers medium strength coffee. My French press is 10x stronger than this machine.I’ve tried all different grind settings, and I used premium espresso beans. I suppose I got what I paid for, but not what was advertised. I will store this machine in the utility closet or give it away.

This little espresso machine makes a great cappuccino. The frother works extremely well. Makes a very hot coffee and is easy to use. The down side is that it is made with cheap components. The coffee tamper is cheap plastic. The device used to connect the coffee to the machine is a flimsy metal. A tray attaches again feeling like it is going to fall apart. While the various parts aren’t as substantial as the parts on my breville, this little inexpensive machine makes a world class cup of cappuccino.

I'm worried that these plastic components will break, this machine is replacing another Gevi machine and the other one looked much better built than this one, the coffee tastes very good like the previous machine, we'll see how long it lasts, if it doesn't last less than the previous one then I'll change to another brand.

So I wanted a breville but didn’t want to pay the 700$. This espresso machine is WELL worth it & cheap! Makes the best lattes!
