Allows mounting of network hardware.
Using it clean up the ridiculously small cabinet that the builder put in for my networking and coaxial and trying to make it as clean as I can. Thankfully Ubiquiti has alot equipment options that will make use of that space pretty well. I'm only using two PoE switches in this space to make use of the network wires that are coming in. I've built a shelf above this box that holds my cable modem, router and NAS.

Kinda flimsy and fiddly
I tried to use this hold my Raspberry Pi in my Legrand media cabinet, but ultimately just used velcro. I like the concept of letting the hold-downs be placed anywhere and the clamps being set to any height, but it doesn't really work on anything that doesn't have square sides, and the leftover parts of the rails that stick out from the back of the cabinet just get in the way of other stuff.

This mounting plate does not fit my metal OnQ enclosure installed by the builder.
Let's start by saying the overall result is excellent. As mentioned in my headline, I originally purchased these mounting plates to go in my existing (metal) Legrand On Q enclosure installed when the house was built in 2016. I was sadly surprised to find them 100% incompatible!Anyway, I decided to stay with the Legrand Brand and replaced the enclosure with a 30 inch version from my local (Blue) home improvement center. Note: The 30" enclosure does not fit Qty 3 of these 10" mounting plates. Only Qty 2 of the 10" and Qty 1 of the 5" raised plate. That actually worked out better because the raised 5" plate was able to pass cables underneath it to other components lower down in the cabinet. In hindsight I should have gotten the 42" cabinet because I realize now it would've been nice have room for future growth and to have added the Ring home alarm system module inside the cabinet. I did manage to include a home network video recorder (NVR) for the Qty 8 POE cameras I installed a few years back.Anyway, I very please with the final result. Get yourself some Velcro straps because the red clamps have limited attachment points on the mounting plate, especially if you want to mount them underneath a component. That's why mine are seen mounted on the sides. They do hold the weight of the components very well. The heaviest piece is the NVR and I imagine that's at least 3-4 pounds.Excellent product overall! 5stars

Works great!
Quality seems strong. Exact fitment with the mounting holes aligning with the OnQ holes perfectly. Was able to fit two of these in our 30” OnQ Network Enclosure.Bought two of these to clean things up in our OnQ Network enclosure. Provided many mounting points for devices. Made such a huge difference.

beware you will need more parts
good but could be great. they do not give you near enough accessory clamps to hold items. should be 3 sets included not 1 on a 10" x 13" grid. Give me a break.

No Attachment Hardware
This only came with the plate itself, none of the red attachment bits that are pictured. Returned...

Fit my 20-year-old Leviton steel structured media enclosure
I upgraded all of my equipment recently, when after a service call from my ISP, I was suddenly being delivered 490Mbps into my house, but my equipment was only delivering 40ish. Previously, some of my stuff was just hanging by their network cables, so I took a chance on this panel mount, even though it didn't say it would work with Leviton media panels. Well, I got lucky! The mounting holes were just slightly off, but I was still able to press in all four of the mounting pins. Most of the stuff they provided with the panel for mounting was useless to me (you can see all those unused red pieces in the photo), but the panel itself was a godsend for making things more orderly. I now have my cable modem, router, and a 5-port switch attached to the panel, and all of the power adapters fit underneath it. It was a good purchase for my situation. I wish it had had more ways to attach things to the panel, but I made do with some thin-headed machine screws, washers and nuts, so for this reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
