Solar Pool Cover for Inground and Above Ground Pools - 16' x 32' Rectangle 12 Mil Solar Blanket for Inground Pool, Blue

16 X 36 purchased to primarily keep pool water warm during the April and May months in the Mid-Atlantic so we wouldn't have to use our propane heater to warm the pool and waste money. The pool cover measurements are excellent as we have about 4 feet extra on the length and the width allows for a good seal on the sides to cover 99% of the water and retain the heat. Heated pool to 81 and with the cover at night (blue 12mil) that water temps never gets further than 4 degrees off so far. Depending on night time temps, here 49-62 over the last 3 weeks documented the pool has been at 74-79 every morning at 6 am. By 11-12 depending on sunny days or cloudy the temps are back to the 77-81 temperature and the LP heater hasn't been used.We expect to get 1 or maybe 2 seasons from the solar cover and if we do then it's well worth the money and will pay for itself in propane savings easily. It is not difficult to take on or cover with 2 people. We manually do this by hand and takes about 2-3 minutes either way. Great product.

This pool solar covered is so nice!! We've had a pool for 33 years and have bought several of these over the years. We bought the heaviest mil to the lightest but rarely do they last more than 3 years I don't care what the guarantee says. We make a joke about it's only covered if it's still in the box. This particular one was inexpensive. It's the first time it had a sealed binding on both sides. All the others were cut through the bubbled part. It feels like a quality item. I can update you at the end of the summer. For now we feel it's a definite 5 star. Arrived a day sooner than expected by FedEx. Driver was kind enough to put it in my garage.

The media could not be loaded. bought this for 16x32 vinyl pool. we'll see how well it holds up. One side was just cut to fit instead of having a seamed Edge on it. see pictures. we'll have to make sure to always pull it by the other side as this unseamed side easily tears. is a little bit of a pain to unroll as you'll have to flip it to put the bubbles on the downside. fingers crossed it makes it through the season.

great way to keep your pool warm & cozy.. especially against the nighttime winds when your pool loses so much of its heat.. Great product - medium thickness and it came amazon fast .. I am a happy camper ( with warm water ) !

Thicker solar cover for the price of the thin ones. I would definitely buy again!

I’m so glad I got this solar blanket! It has made a huge difference in heating up the pool when the sun is out, which is all the time here in Florida. It also keeps the water from getting cold overnight. It helps keep all the debris from getting in the pool. I also bought a roller, so that I can just roll it out. The seams are secure and I believe they will be durable enough to last for a while. It’s light enough to carry and unfold by myself, so assembly was easy. I has had to get a larger size and cut it down for my pool, which was very simple and easy. It looks great too!

This cover is of very poor quality and craftmanship. One of the seams that runs the full length of the cover is bunched up and was not properly sealed almost its entire length. I have been calling the seller's phone number for 4 days now and no one answers and I have not gotten a call back from the messages I have left. I have owned several of these solar covers in the past and they work pretty well to keep heat in on cold nights. If properly constructed I would suspect this one would work well also. This cover has been used about 3 weeks total.
