My door looks great now!
I swapped out my old deadbolt for this Veise smart lock and, honestly, I’m not looking back.What I liked:• Fingerprint unlock is clutch. Super fast and works almost every time. Way easier than digging for keys, especially when your hands are full.• Multiple ways to unlock. You get fingerprint, passcode, key, app control, and even temporary codes for guests. Feels very techy but still user-friendly.• Looks clean. Sleek design, not bulky or weird-looking on the front door.• Easy install. Took me like 15–20 minutes with just a screwdriver. No pro needed.Minor stuff to note:• Fingerprint reader can be a little picky in cold/wet weather—but still better than keys.• App is solid, not amazing, but gets the job done (lock status, code setup, etc.).• Battery life is good so far, but I’ll keep an eye on it. Backup key helps if it dies.The bottom line:If you’re looking to upgrade your front door with a smart lock that doesn’t overcomplicate things, this one’s a win. The fingerprint unlock alone makes life easier. Just make sure to keep the batteries fresh.

La Instilación Es super fácil, me gusta el app, me gusta todo; lo único malo es para programar las huellas, la app no es clara en esto, perdí horas molesta, hasta que lei un comentario de un usuario aca en Amazon, que indicaba como hacerlo y no me llevo no 15 segundos… debes poner el dedo, cuando suena pii, levanta el dedo, lo vuelves a poner y así en los 4 pasos, si son súper fáciles. Por ahora estoy contenta, muy contenta con ella.

Excellent lock
This lock was engineered extremely well. It seems they addressed all the concerns an owner might have. It also looks good from inside and out. However the directions weren't as clear as I would have liked. The app is in need of an overhaul, misleading & difficult to set up. That's why I had to deduct a star. I needed to call support and I spoke to Lizzette. She guided me through the menu expertly. Summary, a great lock but I hope you have better luck setting it up.

Amazing customer service from Aaron
We are very satisfied with this door lock. It is a great product and after purchasing a few others that didn't work out, we purchased this one and we love it. We had trouble trying to program it and called tech support. We spoke to Aaron and he was amazingly helpful and kind. He guided us step by step through being able to use the coding system and it works perfect. Thanks Aaron for your wonderful customer service!

I replaced my last lock because it would lock randomly with the touch of a hair, act up and not lock by any means (temperamental), and it was loose.This lock is solid, rock solid on the door with its silicone or rubber backers and third screw in upper middle (note you will need to pilot a hole and utilize a separate screw or drill a large hole all the way thru to bolt it into place from front plate)Next Fuction: appears to function the way you’d expect. Tested keyfob, remote lock (with gateway), finder prints and passcodes. All worked seemingly seamlessly without too much human error.App: the app has 2.7 stars (43 ratings) but I honestly think the app is amazing. You can switch the door side if need to thru the app, assign temporary codes, setup finger prints, permanent codes, temporary users, key fobs, etc. if you’d had first gen smart locks this is light years ahead. Additionally it’s google and Alexa able. I bought three of these because you can control all of them through one app. It looks like you can even program the fobs to all of them simultaneously.Installation: now I’ve installed and setup at least six of these ‘smart locks’ on the past so I knew what I was getting into. I timed myself and my wife helped me. It took almost exactly an hour to install and setup the following on the app: four thumbprints, four index, three passcodes, two fobs, one additional admin, and I had to test everything for good measure. The people who say it took ten minutes didn’t actually time themselves, although I get where they are coming from. It’s not super difficult to setup if you’ve done this before, however the instructions are not very detailed and don’t include the rubber backing behind the inner plate, so that was frustrating but quick to fix due to the straight-forward install process. Just know that you’re not getting into a ten minute install, and that’s with the strike plate(s) already installed because I had upgraded their security a while back.So I hope this is the real deal review to help inform you from someone who’s tested several different brands and models. Do not recommend
Lock does not work to the standard I feel like it should. Biometrics do not work. Put fingerprints into the lock and it deletes them. Key pad is not responsive. Would not recommend this lock. There are many products out there with similar prices that work much better.

Unhappy purchaser
As of this point having only had the lock installed for less that a month I am not impressed. I installed new batteries upon installation within two week the batteries were dead. Installed new batteries and I could not find a process to reset the battery gauge on the APP. After searching the web it said to reset the lock. With that it wiped out all programming and I had to reinstall the lock in the APP as if it were a second lock. I had to completely reporgram all functions. Within hours of the new batteries being installed It showed then at 65%. I went away for three days which meant the lock functions were not in use. When I returned I purposly checked the battery gauge, it still showed 65%. The next day the fingeprint scan would not work however we were able to unlock it with the supplied RF keys. After unlocking it I rechecked the battery gauge and it showed it at 0%. They are now sending me a new lock. At this point I am not very impressed with the lock as it seems to eat batteries and there seems to be no way to replace them and have the gauge update without doing a reset which ends up being more time consuming. Once I get the new one I'll re evaluate my stars and go up or down if I end up in the same predicament.
