I purchased this step ladder with the side rails to get up and down from our raised bed in our backyard as I am a senior and need to be careful about falling. I love it! Easy up and down and completely safe.

We live in a manufactured home and our back stairs rotted after years. We were looking for stairs that are sturdy and convenient until we can construct a new back porch. It took a bit to put these together and the instructions were not very clear. Had to use some deductive reasoning and pure elbow grease in some cases. The end results were worth it though! Great steps! They look great, they're sturdy, and my old dog appreciates having steps again. Only thing I'm worried about is how these will do in the AZ heat. They are facing east and I'm hoping since the sun only hits them in the morning, they wont get too hot. 5 Stars!

I would give the stairs a 4.5 if possible but feel there is room for improvement. I've been using the stairs for several months now with excellent results, very solid and nice looking.Now with the small issues. I agree with the one person that complained about the bolts and nuts on the hand rails since the one set in the middle is in the way of using the rails when climbing the stairs. Would be nice if the rails were either one piece or had bolts and nuts that were flush with the metal. I actually removed the 4 bolts and nuts and used black tie wraps. The ends of the tire wraps also stick out but not as much as the nuts, just had to be sure to cut the tie wraps at the very end so no sharp plastic stuck out to cut the fingers out hands. I think it is strange how the pics don't show the hardware even installed to give the appearance the rails are one piece, kind of sneaky advertising.The other issue that is even more concerning is that the bolts and nuts are not high quality steel such as 304 stainless steel. I have rust on many of the bolts and nuts. I even coated all the bolts and nuts with rust preventative spray and used gloves to keep the oils from my hands off them but still rusted in spots. I just ordered my first set of 304 stainless steel bolts and nuts to replace the ones starting to rust. I didn't want to leave them getting more rusted over time to then be almost impossible to remove. Easy to find 304 s stainless steel hardware on Amazon at low cost. These should work much better to resist rust. Besides this, the stairs have no rust except for a tiny bit in the crease of each 90 degree bend on the bottom rails touching the ground, easy to remove and touch-up with black paint.Lastly I used slip resistant tape on the stairs for added safety. I use the stairs with a swim spa so they get slippery when wet. The black slip resistant tape works great. Also purchased on Amazon.Great product over all. Very sturdy and safe feeling when climbing the stairs going up and down.Cheers!

I do stages for my business. I've bought two other brands of three/step stairs, both of which turned out to be identical except for their stickers. They were decent, not truly heavy duty enough for what I do but they're functional. I decided to try one that was one step higher, and chose this brand. I'm extremely pleased at how solid and heavy duty it is. I'll be buying another. The only thing I don't like is that the handrails have a nut and bolt right where people will be grabbing it, the other brands I bought had one l-piece u-shaoed handrails. But otherwise these are perfect. The instructions weren't exactly right but assembly was pretty obvious to me.

I'm giving this product 1 star because the instructions are horrible and inaccurate. Well actually there are no instructions just pictures. the one page document is for a three-step and I purchased a four step which means they're additional pieces and there's no instructions on how to assemble it. I have contacted the company they said I had to contact Amazon. I contacted Amazon and they took the information and said someone would get back to with assembly instructions. They also said me there is supposed to be a PDF file on Amazon site for the instructions and they're not there. The video that's on there is for a three-step for a hot tub! these are not hot tub steps very inaccurate information throughout the product page. Very disappointed so far. The prices look promising but we will see. I'm a little concerned that the frame for the steps is for 3 steps with (it looks like) the additional step an add on. That would seem less sturdy. But we'll see.

Works perfectly for my RV, sooo much better than the standard stairs and my older parents feel much more comfortable visiting with the sturdy handrails!

great item, easy assembly

Bought these steps for my son to get into my truck and to get into my horsetrailer. Works as expected and offers stability and safety where needed.
