Good customer service
The back up camera is super easy to install. After charging the camera, simply screw in the camera on your license plate, plug in the monitor, and turn the car on. The picture quality is good enough to see what's going on and there's barely any lag. Battery life is good as long as you park in the sun some amount. I never have to recharge it. Overall pretty good value.Unfortunately mine died after 6 months. The camera became unresponsive. I tried charging it and nothing. I emailed customer service and they told me to try factory resetting it. After I told them that it didn't work they promptly sent me a brand new camera with overnight shipping. So while it was disappointing that it broke, I'm glad to know that customer service is responsive and caring. Just remember they're in China so you'll get replies overnight.

Auto-Vox backed up their equipment when there was a problem with the original.
I had purchased the wireless solar backup camera a few months ago and it worked great. Then all of a sudden it quit working. I contacted Auto-Vox via email and Vicki in customer service got back with me. Once I explained everything, she sent me a new camera system. I just got it installed (took 2 minutes) and it works great. Not only did she get it to me she got it to me in record time. Thanks, Vicki, for a great job.

Good choice for older vehicle
I've had this backup camera operational since August 2024 (9 months).I bought it because it's solar powered meaning I didn't have to figure out how to wire it into the electrical system of my truck like most other units. The license-plate mounted combo solar panel/camera is smaller than I thought it would be (see picture).I like how the camera swivels down so that I can see curbs better (camera is is currently swiveled down, to the right of the solar panel, see picture).I attached the tv monitor to a cable-style mounting arm that I bought separately on Amazon.com ($10?). I wrapped the mounting arm around the 4 wheel drive shifter (see picture).I think the quality of the video is pretty good (see pictures). When I leave the cab of the truck I either disconnect the tv monitor via the quick-release mechanism (aftermarket purchase) and hide it in the console or I leave it in place and put a gray nylon bag over it.The video isn't on all the time. It works for about 2 minutes and then goes to sleep. I attached a small swatch of white medical tape to the "on" button which is located on the right hand side of the unit so that I can just reach down, feel the medical tape, press the "on" button, and within 1 second the tv monitor wakes up and provides video.I am deducting one star because the unit sometimes doesn't wake up...maybe 10% of the time. In cases like this, I unplug the USB from the cigarette lighter adapter, plug it back in, and it wakes up. It can be a distraction when you're driving. Also, occasionally, it will tell me to go back to the rear of the vehicle and press the power button on the camera...not sure why.Other than that it's been a welcome addition to my driving experience and I would definitely recommend it for owners of older vehicles who want to add a relatively inexpensive safety feature.Customer support has been top notch.

Easy to install.
The camera works well and was not hard to install. Little black sticky clips help hold the wiring in place and look better. Communication was fast and they seemed to be nice to work with.

Great for my trailer
I wanted a wireless camera that I could install myself and this worked great. As a solo camper it's sometimes challenging to back into a spot without guidance. Installed this on the back of my trailer and I can be confident of what's behind me while parking. Clear picture, no lag, great value. Makes my camping days much easier!

Easy to install and setup
Good quality picture, easy to install. I had a little trouble mounting it but it's my car not the equipment. It does what they say it will do and would recommend it..

Easy installation
I purchased the wireless backup camera. Installation was quite easy. The camera and monitor paired automatically. I did have an issue with an upsidedown image. Customer service was helpful in getting the issue corrected. I have only been using this for a short time so I can't vouch for its long-term functioning, but so far so good.

It is better then not having one at all.
The backup camera works OK, but it is no substitute for a factory installed camera. Had to mount it without license plate bracket so I could open the back hatch of the vehicle because the camera was in the way. Could not put the display on the dash board because it interferes with the view plus the light coming from the window makes the camera difficult to see. Put the camera down low by a cup holder. No where else to put it. Not ideal, but will keep it for whatever help it will provide. However, being wireless is very good and easy to setup.
