The powder is excellent, I felt fast relief of my symptoms and I will keep taking it. I used another brand but since I'm already familiar with the outstanding quality of Pure Encapsulations products, I didn't hesitate to buy this even if it costs a little more. I took it as per the directions, one scoop three times a day. I try to time it away from food, I didn't experience any side effects like digestive or upset stomach, none at all.

Good brand and very helpful supplement

Our little 10-1/2 pound, female dog had been having several recurring urinary-tract infections, and I was interested in a supplement (with some connection to cranberries) that could, hopefully, prevent further infections. At a time when she was completely clear of infection, I asked our veterinarian to recommend a supplement that might work to protect her. Although neither he nor I was sure of the results, he instructed us to try D'Mannose Pure Encapsulations. Well, we did that in mid-2018; and, for the past (at least) 9-10 months, ZERO INFECTIONS have occurred!! Therefore, I would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product, which (after your vet determines the dose, based upon canine weight) is very SIMPLE to use. For our little Bichon, 1/8 tsp. of D-Mannose is mixed with both our dog's breakfast and supper meals after any warming in the microwave takes place. For us, it has been nothing short of a M-I-R-A-C-L-E !

i bought this beacuse I read that corn based D-Mannose isnt as effective. This one is made from birth or something, and it definitely worked better for me. But my stomach hurt really badly while taking it. i have SIBO and I think it aggravated it. Also the jar is tiny i cant believe it cost this much. next time i will get another birch based Dmannose but not this brand.

I had recurrent UTIs for over a year. I ended up hospitalized with a pre-Sepsis condition once during that year. I have numerous allergies to antibiotics, and the bacteria was becoming resistant to the ones I can take. I found out about D-mannose by doing my own research. I also found out that post menopausal vaginal dryness allows e-coli to collect there. I ended up seeing an infectious disease specialist who recommeded D-mannose, a probiotic, and estrogen vaginal cream. The probiotics that help vaginal flora are lactobacillus rhamnosus and lactobacillus reuteri. The two supplements alone have been working beautifully, so I am not sure that I need the estrogen cream. It’s expensive, but the results have been miraculous. Do your own research, so you know what questions to ask your doctor. My family doctor had never heard of D-Mannose.
