For years, I've been dealing with quartz halogen work lights because they were so bright. They had their downsides, which I accepted because nothing else produced comparable lumens until now. I purchased two of these new units because I've had such good luck with other LED lighting solutions. Also ...10,000 lumens; that's a lot of lumens. These lights will not be used as trouble lights. Instead, they are installed strategically and permanently in my shop using smart plugs so that I can turn off everything that I might mistakenly leave on, creating a safety issue. I just say, "Hey, Google, shut down my shop," and all the lights, heaters, hot plates, bottle warmers, etc., turn off one after another. It makes me feel a bit like Gandalf. What can I say about the lights themselves? They are fantastic, brighter than anything I've ever tried, and have no hideous heat build-up, although they do get hot after a while.I look forward to not changing those nasty halogen bulbs, especially the need to wear rubber gloves when doing so. I won't miss waiting and waiting for the burnt-out bulb to cool down before I can handle it. The build quality is first-rate. If I were using these as a portable solution, I would definitely appreciate the foam handles. All the knobs are of the typical rigid plastic you would expect. I could easily adjust the angle of the light to suit my needs. Add to all that, these are rated IP66. While I'm not too interested in the fact that they can withstand a water jet from any direction, I have one positioned directly above my table saw, so the high dustproof rating is important to me.All in all, these lights deserve the 5-star rating I've given them. I think you will be very happy if you decide to buy these.

Got this to extend my working time outdoors.It is bright and provides enough light to get tasks done. One reviewer said that there is Jo off button but there is one. Look for a little red circular button on top of the light.

This thing is BRIGHT! It's great for working under cars, but just be careful where you place it--if you are looking towards the light it's like staring directly at the sun.Long-term durability is TBD but it has survived being knocked over and having tools dropped on it several times already.

I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. He absolutely loves it!The lights are super bright and he likes that it is versatile. He works on vehicles in our garage so it's important for him to have good lighting that he can adjust and move around with him to put it where he needs it.The power cord is nice and long so there are no issues reaching areas where we need the lights to be.The overall construction of the lights was fairly simple and everything you need to assemble it is included. The metal and materials are of good quality and it seems pretty sturdy.If you plan to buy it for outdoor use I would suggest to find a way to anchor it down if it's super windy outside because it isn't very heavy and it might blow over.
