Quiet, powerful, precise, long cord, easy cleaning, and it sticks firmly to the counter.
This has been a very high quality slicer so far. I've had it for a few weeks and use it mostly for cheese, meat, and bread; it's handled them flawlessly. First, this is a VERY quiet machine, and it sticks solidly to my countertop with its suction-cup feet. The thickness adjustment knob is on the back, off to the left side, so it's easy to get to but not in my way at all. The cord is also a decent length, a HUGE plus since most machines nowadays have wussy 2' cords. I tried all widths of slices with soft and hard cheeses, and it doesn't matter...they all slice perfectly from beginning to end, and I even sliced some extra sharp cheddar so thin that I could literally read a magazine article's printing through the cheese. (This is extremely handy, btw, for putting a thin cheese topper on baked snacks...just enough cheese to taste w/o overpowering my cracker toppings.) Lastly, there's no assembly...just clean it with a quick wipe-down and use. (There are a pair of blade protectors that need to be removed first, btw, but those are just there to protect the blade during shipping.) Also, cleaning's a breeze...even the blade has a nice little tab that rotates a little, unlocking the blade, and is super easy to put back when dried.

If you're doubting it, don't.
I was skeptical about this before I bought it because I work in a restaurant with an industrial slicer, and it's really nice. This slicer surprisingly works very well. It's easy to put together, clean, and swap blades. It's obviously smaller than an industrial, so you will likely section off most of the meat to fit it on the slicer. It cuts nice thin slices and has already been used on multiple cuts of smoked meats I made, as well as veggies. Highly recommend if you are interested in buying, considering it was worth the buy

kbbq at home
its perfectly fine for the price point. i got it for thin slice brisket and it has definitely paid for itself in the kbbq trips its saved me. its easy to clean. my only complaint is that the back plate is not very sturdy and will lean with pressure, so often my cuts are not even and getting a thin slice is inconsistent.

Works great. Just like I wanted.
Works as advertised. Cuts well. No problem with thickness or motor slowing. I cut up a ham and a block of cheese quickly. Cleanup is pretty easy. You do need to take the time to wipe out the crevices for crumbs, but that is normal. It does not move on my old formica countertop. Someone had said the backstop gives a bit and lets thickness vary, but mine is pretty solid and did not move . I got uniform cuts. Changing blades is easy.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Total surprise the quality vs the price. Granted, I've only sliced two loaves of homemade sourdough bread, but:1. The suctions cups were strong and securely held the slicer to the countertop2. Easy to use.3. Love the safeguard the pushed the bread through the blade -4. Blade was sharpFor the money you cannot go wrong with this item!

Sweet potatoe fries & fresh sourdough bread
I bought this primarily to cut sweet potatoe fries, veggies, and frozen meat. It doesn't like raw sweet potatoes, as they are exceptionally hard. Microwaving for a minute or 2 renders those veggies perfectly cut with this machine. The slicer will tell you if it doesn't like how hard your item is by not feeding through easily. I found a bamboo skewer helpful to guide the smaller slices through the blade. I used the flat end to keep my potato slices flush with the bottom "table". They are long enough to keep body parts safely away from the blade while facilitating the smaller pieces to easily push through the blade by pushing them down against the platform. Cautions: Do not use it on bone or completely frozen meat. Do not use it in the shower or bathtub. (Yes this is right in the directions)My husband likes to bake sourdough bread. The boule is way too soft and spongy after cooling to cut with a knife. It does a perfect job slicing that soft, sweet smelling bread, an impossible task even with the best of bread knives.

This slicer is better than I expected!!!
The media could not be loaded. I just received slicer, unpacked it and turned it on. My main concern was the motor because I’ve purchased slicers like this before and every one has been returned. In all fairness I’m used to a 1953 Hobart 10” slicer which I included in the pics. I can say this motor is respectively quiet compared to all other 200W motors. Others you need hearing protection to use🤣 If you are like me and beat to death which one to buy, this is your best choice! It comes apart very easy and clean up much easier than my other slicer. Now I haven’t used it yet but I don’t think I’ll be disappointed. I’ll follow up after use in the future. I hope this helps someone…

Thickness creeping while slicing.
Arrived today! Sliced a precooked ham even and thin, after I held the thickness lever... Motor has plenty of power. Blade is sharp, cleanup is relatively easy. My only criticism is when I pushed the ham against the slicer assembly the thickness indicated increased thickness each time I sliced… so I held the indicator knob with one hand and sliced with the other. Maybe there is a way to lock that down and I just haven’t figured it out yet. Easy to operate, comes apart easily to clean and good value for the money.
