Replacement for Apple-TV-4K-Remote, Remote Control for Apple TV 4K/HD (NOT Siri and Voice)

I could not have been more pleased with this device. I popped in some batteries and it literally instantly was able to control both my TV (Hisense) and the Apple TV HD without me doing a single thing. Literally nothing. We were back in business for 1/5th the price of the Siri Remote. So we lost voice control. Big deal. We saved 80% and it all just worked.

This remote is great! Worked with my new LG TV right away -- no set-up. New Apple TV+ 4 K remote is just too sensitive, so I needed an 'easy-to-use' basic remote. This LOUTOC remote works very well, and takes the place of the Apple TV+ remote. Good product at a good price!

Works great. As disclosed in the product description, there is not a microphone (so you can't use Siri) but when my Apple TV remote went missing, this worked without incident. It was super easy to use-- no setup required, it literally just turned on my apple TV. Cheap and functional replacement!

I bought 3 of these because my 6 year old carries them off to who knows where lol. So I keep one of them in my own place so I always have one to use. Here are some things to know about these -* The power button powers the TV on and off. The [TV] button (below the power button) turns the Apple TV on and off. So to turn everything on, press the power button, then the TV button and it all should come on.* There is no functional scroll-pad so if you liked that on the Apple TV remote you might not like this.* These is no voice / microphone feature so if you need that these aren't going to work for you.* Quality - One of mine has a broken battery compartment and I had to throw it away.Overall these are awesome for around 10 bucks. Just be aware of what you are getting, this does not have all the features that the Apple remote has. I have these as 'extra' remotes and what I liked best about them is that they are good-to-go out of the box. Just load the batteries, point and click. No loathsome setup or configuration.

I was actually shocked by how simple this was to use. I just added batteries and voila- we had a remote that wasn't based on our cell phone. Well with the price.

Minus the voice feature, this works better than the Apple Original remote. I was concerned when there were No pairing instructions. It worked as soon as I put the batteries in (not included with remote).

This remote sucks. I was thrilled to get a replacement for the awful apple tv remote, at first. But having lived with it for a few days it has some glaring flaws.The main problem I have with this remote is that there is no way to control the power, on or off, of the apple tv itself. It has a nice big power button on it. Don't let this fool you. This button controls the TV (LG in my case) only and not the Apple TV. If I want to turn on the apple tv, it turns on the tv, which in turn controls the power of the apple tv via hdmi cec. If I want to turn off the apple tv, without turning off the tv, there is no way to do so. Normally, with the original remote, I would press the button and hold it. It comes up with a menu, which I then select power off. The button which looks similar on this remote doesn't activate that menu when I hold it down. Neither does any other button on it.Also, I am not convinced it is not controlling the apple tv through hdmi cec, which any universal remote or even the remote on your tv, can do.All in all not worth even the low price it sells for.

works great. put in 2 AAA batteries and it just worked with my AppleTV 3rd gen and Sony Bravia TV. no setup was required
