Really cool and easy
Works like a charm!! You put the thing in the freezer (turn it all the way to coldest setting), and then when it's cold, you just pour whatever onto it and it freezes like ice cream. I've been using pureed fruits of different kinds.

Deceptive marketing
This does not work as advertised. Sure, you can make a cold treat on it but to call it an ice cream maker is a real stretch.

Create Your Own Flavors (Unique Ice Cream Maker)
This instant ice cream maker is unique, which is what attracted me to it. It's a thick stainless steel tray with sturdy plastic sides and bottom, containing liquid that sloshes around when unfrozen. It's well-built and includes 2 sturdy plastic shovels for mixing the ingredients and rolling the finished product. The concept is simple, and making your own ice cream concoction is easy:1. Freeze the tray upside down for 12 hours.2. Add the ingredients (both liquids and solids) you want in your ice cream.3. Mix well for about 5 minutes, then spread thinly, and you'll have your very own ice cream creation.Note: The creamier the ingredients, the better the results—rolled ice cream. Less creamy ingredients give you folded ice cream. With this tool you can make anything you want and any flavor you can dream up. Highly recommended!

I'm trying to get the point of this thing.
I'm not quite sure why this is called a machine. It's a steel surface that comes with 2 spatulas. Freeze it for a couple of days, then pour heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk onto the sheet, freeze it again and then use the spatulas to roll up the ice cream.I did finally get a 'roll' of the frozen concoction, and it tasted okay, but the effort is simply too much.It would be okay for keeping the pre-teens busy for an hour or so, as long as you've pre-frozen the tray. Not on my shopping list.

So fun!
My kids love rolled ice cream. I'm so happy to be able to make it right at home. The plate has to be placed in the freezer to freeze and used quickly after. The cream solidifies quickly and smoothly. It's small, but is so worth it.
