Perfect little camera
I wanted to have a separate camera like this instead of always having to use my phone for photos. This is very versatile and user friendly out of the box. I went through and got all the settings I needed done within minutes. It came with a really cute lanyard which will be good for my kids keeping track of it and holding on to it. It comes with a nice 64Gb card rather than others that seem to only come with 32. Great purchase.

Camera's smarter than me.
For what is suppose to be a "kid's camera", it's rather advanced. Make sure you keep the directions handy, because there's a bit of a learning curve. (although I've noticed that kids grasp the technology faster than us oldsters). The direction book has some good diagrams, and fairly straightforward instructions on how to use various settings, and accessing the camera menus. However, I found it a little bit of work to navigate around things. But I don't think that's necessarily the camera's fault, I don't have full and normal use of my right arm due to injury. The on/off, take picture buttons placement is slightly different that people may be use to, the on/off is on the side. (But at least you can't accidentally turn it off, thinking your taking a pic). The wide/telephoto buttons are on the top back of the camera, clearly marked and easily accessible. The camera generally takes decent pictures, but it seems to pixelate when in max telephoto setting. (see attached pics) 1st photo is at max wide angle, about 25-28 ft from the goose. The 2nd is while standing in the same place, but set at max telephoto mode (and bird's about 10' closer. 3rd is from about 10' away, with some "telephoto" applied. Last pic was set at wide angle, about 8' away. all in all, good pictures. the one major thing that I don't like, (hence the 4 stars) is the slow shutter response time. the camera auto focuses, first with a yellow box on the subject, then goes green when focused. But, now comes the issue. Continue to press the pic button down and HOLD it down, while not moving. There is a 2 - 3 second delay before it takes the picture (loud click) if you move, or quickly press the button the picture is going to be blurry every time. This was the hardest thing for me to get use to. Once I figured that out, it takes good pictures. I would probably not recommend this for anyone under 12, but for 11-12 or older, with a little practice, they should be able to take great pictures. It's more than just a point and shoot camera.

Ok but not 4k
It’s a good little camera but it is not 4k 64mp. It is 1080p. We let our young child have it for fun. Great for what we wanted it for but false advertisement for sure.

Digital Camera
Digital camera that can take video. It worked okay at first but we couldn't figure out how to lower the sound. The battery life was also not that long and eventually it stopped working

Good for getting extra camera angles
For being a relatively low cost camera, I thought that this seemed relatively robust with useful features. One of the first things that I noticed out of the box is a small mirror on the front of the camera next to the lens, which I assume is for selfies. On the listing photos it looked like an LCD screen, or so I thought but, really, it is just for framing your shot anyway so that's fine. but I thought I would mention it.The camera comes with a 64GB micro SD card which I really appreciate. This is something that could have easily been downgraded to a 32, but I like the fact that they did not do that. It is a little tricky take in and out using a thumbnail, but I found that using a small tool made it a lot easier. The camera controls are very intuitive, especially if you are familiar with point and shoot style options and menu arrangements. A short press of the menu button switches between modes and a long press gets you directly into the menu for that mode. The camera has a lot of useful software options such as time lapse, loop recording, timed shots, and even stand alone audio recording (which I had not seen before). There are far too many features and options to get into all of them now but suffice it to say it really does allow you to “dial in“ your specific requirements. The photo and video performance is sufficient for my needs. The digital Zoom does a good job of magnifying the image up to 18X but I think that the recorded image/footage does suffer a little bit when zoomed in all the way. I do tend to prefer having the zoom controls on the top, but I will mostly be using this camera as a static set up anyway. The video performance is also pretty decent. I would not call it comparable to an iPhone, but I did verify that the 4K video was a full 2160 X 3840. It does require adequate lighting for a good image, but that is a good rule of thumb for all photography.I got this camera to use as a spare and for alternate static camera angles for shooting at 4K. I think it will work well for this purpose. I know that a lot of people like to use a GoPro for this function, but they are just too expensive for me. This camera is affordable and also gives me a lot more options than the budget friendly action cams as well. All in all, this camera works well for most of my use scenarios.
