The ladder is very easy to assemble & you do need to be patient putting it together because if you don't follow the steps or instructions you will not be successful at putting it together. It took me two evening's to completely finish the task by myself.It's very heavy to lift & place into the pool you'll need assistance. The Deck is perfect, I love the width & rails, my Grandchildren love doing cannon balls off it.I feel very safe with the security it provides when I close the secure gate & lock it. This is a very wonderful pool ladder worth the price!

***UPDATE** we finally got the ladder top piece down by sledge hammering it really good I mean really good .. it’s took forever to get it but we got it. We did contact seller and they did reach out rather quickly to help resolve so other than if taking forever to put together with lots of cuss words but we got it ! Good Sturdy upgrade from the stock ladder the pool came with Cannot get the top railing to flush with the steps . Watched multiple YouTube videos, and it appears that ours has a manufacturing defect since they dont align. The plastic seems sturdy and will work amazing IF we could get the plastic to align properly. We have troubleshooted and tried everything it seems to try to get the feet aligned with the handles to flush but it’s off in my pictures I’m trying to show one side flushed and the other can’t get aligned at all. Ladder is so big it not even sure how we can send it back

This is a nice strong sturdy ladder. Easy to assemble but takes a little time. Nice locking feature. Shipping time was great.Put into pool and fill with water to hold in place. My only question is…how do you get it out of the pool when the season is over? The ladder is BIG and now even heavier due to having water in it. Do you drain the water out of the ladder? If so, how?I would recommend but only after knowing how you remove it from the pool. You can’t leave it in the pool or you won’t be able to cover your pool. Plus the water in it will most likely freeze causing the plastic to split it just bust.

Just put this together and in our pool. You have to fill it with water (we missed that step)! It's sturdy, and I feel comfortable getting up and down. I'm only 130lbs, my husband is 200lbs and the ladder shows no difference with either of us getting in and out of the pool-it's stable for both of us. We have set up the stabilizer bars as we haven't needed them as of yet but may as summer goes on.We ordered the warm grey and looks more like a light cream? Works well with our pool, as that is our top rail color.The roll is a little tough, but we are hopeful as summer goes on it gets easier to move back and forth. I love that I can lock it once in place. I feel so much safter with this ladder as an extra barrier to get to the pool.

This ladder is a great replacement for the flimsy ones that comes with the pool. The steps are wider and durable. Works well for a 48 inch pool. Is very stable and doesn't wobble when you climb on it even if you're on the heavier side.

Not sturdy unless you drill into the pool rail and adhere the brackets. Once you drill into pool it could damage the pool itself and liner. Also if you have the safety door it makes it hard for adults with larger feet to steady the steps. Directions unclear as well.

I have pavers around my pool now. It is 3 inches higher on the outside than the inside. Any suggestions on what to build to jack it up in the pool

Product is excellent. A lot of space in the box ( no packing materials inside ). Carrier was other than gentle, thus the box was tore up pretty bad. Thankfully no damage or missing pieces.
