Great addition, easy installation
These shipped quickly and arrived in good shape. The box contains all the tools and screws needed (bolts were thoughtfully pregreased so they went in with little effort. I ended up installing them in 15 min between meetings, and am so much more comfortable. I have been having a lot of pain at my work-from-home office situation and it was recommended to me to get more support for those heavy data crunching days. On lighter days, I lower the arm rests so I don't lean on them. I also bought the memory foam arm rests for further support.

After about one year of use the foam pads split from the metal support. I think that is because of the sharp edges in the metal. Will just remove the arms from my chair I guess and see if I can do without them.I have edited my review for one reason. I contacted Hon about the issue since I learned a newer better pad came out. After questions to prove my chair and arms were within warranty (and their warranty period is generous) they are sending me new replacement arm pads.

NOT DURABLE!
I have two chairs and now, in their second year of very light use, all the arm pads are shredding. Reviews that rate the product when new have no clue how quickly these foam pads shred away. The manufacturer should be offering replacement pads out of an improved material, not requiring the expensive replacement of the arm systems and then covering them with the same worthless foam pads. Pass on the HON chair and look for another one.

Adjustable height! Supportive and not painful!
I think these are mostly sturdy, but anything with bolts will have to be checked every so often. The armrest does have some type of firm cushioning that feels like a memory foam and the arms have a 3 height setting. Fantastic. Excellent buy.

Good for me!
Bought the arms to go with a HON task chair I bought elsewhere. Easy to attach to the chair and now I feel more secure when sitting. The only complaint was that the right side doesn't adjust...left arm I can raise and lower without any problems. Lucky for me that I am short and can live with the right arm not raising so I did not return the arms.

Bought these arms for my HON Synchro-Tilt Volt series task chair. Easy to bolt on using the supplied Allen-head bolts with included wrench - even includes a spare bolt! The arm height-adjustment feature works easily and there is no noticeable height difference between the two arms when both arms are adjusted to the same height. The arms provide a lot of stability to the chair when sitting and standing - grasping the arms keeps the chair from scooting away.

Meh
Not a great product. It lasted about a half a year before cushions started to tear. Also, elbow rest is too small for me. I gave it two stars because it's definitely not a total disappointment. At least, it does what's intended for to be used.

Made to fit the Hon Task Chairs, but would be more useful if they were longer
I picked up these arms to attach to my HON Volt H5705 Task Stool. The chair comes with the holes pre-drilled in the bottom so attaching these arms takes only a few minutes. The arms are just like the chair, all business. The arms don't have much cush or padding and just like the chair, they're built to last a long time showing little wear and tear. Each of the arms have buttons on the underside that allow you to raise and lower them to your preferred height. My only real complaint it that the arms aren't very long, so you can't really rest your elbows on them easily (which is kind of the point of arm rests). The Hon chair I have them attached to has a thick padded backing with a significant shape in the back for lumbar support. The backing is so thick that these arms barely stick out much further than the padding, making them feel very short. I like them more than not having anything there, but they would be more useful of they were longer.
