Bought this to de-scale my tankless hot water heater. Works as advertised. It's a little expensive compared to vinegar, but doesn't slowly dissolve the copper pipes inside the water heater. I probably won't use it every time I need to de-scale, due to the expense, but I will put it in rotation since it's probably more effective on certain types of scale. I very much appreciate that it's non-toxic and biodegradable.

flush tankless water heater
What you need to flush your tankless water heater. You also need a bucket and a pump for recycling this throught the WH per mgf recommendations. Annual flush, then dispose of this. Removes calcium deposits. You could also dilute and put through your coffee maker (use the remainder from the WH flush!). Recommended.

Not enough for a single tankless flush
The instructions say to mix entire quart with 1 gallon of water. This is not enough to do even a single tankless flush as most pumps will not be submerged with only 1 gallon and over $40 per flush (if you use two bottles) is far more expensive than every other tankless flush product out there. Something isn't right here. Returning for a different product.
